Itinerary

Day 1 :

After you pick up from Colombo International Airport and your  tour guide will pick you at the right time at arrival gate. Then he assist you to drop to the hotel in Negombo near Air port to relaxing first day.

Day 2 :

Negombo  – Minneriya National Park

you will proceed to visit Minneriya national park after around 3 hours driving.

That is the first day which you can taste the wildlife of Sri Lankan at Minneriya national park. It is large around 90 km2 area. Minneriya national park is a dry zone area with many kind of impotent flora and fauna. Other than the main special thing is there was a high density of Asian huge elephants in here. It is famous “Gathering” of wild elephants occurs here annually between June and September. It is the largest  Asian wild elephant gathering in the world. Also This park is habitat for many animals including the inherent. There are two kind of endemic monkeys named purple-faced langurs, toque macaques and many kinds of deer, leopards, and bears are living here. And this is the very important Bird watching Area on the island. Also the beautiful Minneriya tank with panoramic views is situated.

Day 3 :

Sigiriya Rock Fortress (UNESCO Heritage site) – Habarana Village Tour

After breakfast we straight to Sigiriya Rock Fortress is considered one of the amazing wonders of the Ancient World that truly needs to be witnessed to be believed. Located in the interior of Sri Lanka and the magnificent rock fortress of Sigiriyais visible for miles from all directions and dominates the surrounding plain. The climb up Sigiriya is a challenge and it will take about 90 minutes. Also you can bird watching experience in sigiriya forest area. In the evening we will go village tour in Hiriwadunna village, Habarana which lacated near the Sigiriya. In there you can join Bullock cart tour, Vessel Tour, Village cooking Demonstration, Taste Ayurvedic tea and special village snacks, Explore elephant tree hut.

Day 4 :

Sigiriya – Kandy

Sigiriya – Dambulla – Kandy

After breakfast proceeds to Kandy historical city that  one of the Sri lankan  kingdom. En route driving to kandy for 3 hours we will go Dambulla Golden cave temple in few minutes from sigiriya. Dambulla is situated in the central province of the island and it is having many ancient attractions in the Cultural Triangle of Sri Lanka. Dambulla Golden Cave Temple Complex have A lot of archeological discoveries were made here and all the caves were formed in the 3rd century B.C.  usually, the rock climbs 160 feet over the surrounding plains. Major attractions are spread over 5 caves which contain both statues and paintings related to the life of Lord Buddha and his life.

 Then we will go ahead to Kandy City. En rout we will visit Spice garden in Matale. There are Many Valuable kinds of Spices in here and you can participate a demonstration about sri lankan spices.  Kandy is one of the most ancient cities in Sri Lanka and this city is known as the cultural capital of Sri Lanka as well as it represents the rich cultural heritage of the country. Additionally, the city is beautiful in all aspects and lies in the hills. It’s more suitable for relaxing and reflecting. Kandy gives shelter the tooth relic of the Lord Buddha, in the famous ‘Dalada Maligawa’ or “Temple of the sacred of Tooth relic”. Every year, thousands of visitors are attracted by these temples and these visitors include devotees as well. There are also some attractions near by the Kandy like  the wonderful Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. In the Evening you will visit Kandy gem museum for explore sri lankan Gem varity . and also in the evening you can enjoy our culture show at kandy.

Day 5 :

Kandy – Nuwara Eliya ( Little England)

After breakfast proceeds to Nuwara eliya about 73 km ahead. En Route  You Visit Ramboda waterfall that 3200 ft  above sea level. NuwaraEliya is situated in the central mountainous area, the temperature is 4-16 °C all year round. It is widely known as authentic Ceylon Tea all over the world. So, in this tour, you can taste Ceylon tea in a Tea factory. Then we visit Gregory lake and city tour. In the evening you have to enjoy Beautiful green paradise “ Hakkgala Botanical Garden”

Day 6 :

Horton Plains National Park (UNESCO world heritage site)

This is the second day that you stay in nuwara eliya. Early morning You have to trek in Horton Plains national park today, get experience in wildlife in Sri Lankan highlands. This is located in the central highlands at an height of 2100 – 2300 meters. Mountain grassland and cloud forest

 encompasses most of the park, and it haven for thousands of flora and fauna and rare animals. This area is the heart of this island. En route you will go Damro tea factory and in there you can taste pure Ceylon tea. Also you will visit strawberry farm and Ambewela diary farm and factory.

Day 7 :

NuwaraEliya – Tissa

After Breakfast, you will proceed to the Thissamaharamaya within four and half an hours Via Ella tourist attraction city. En route you will see beautiful Ravana water fall and some attractive view points. Thissamaharamaya that today our destination city is the ancient Sinhalese kingdom and sacrificed town. So you  can see our ancient heritage with Buddhist monuments. Examples :- Thiissamaharama pagoda, Yatala pagoda, Yatala museum. In  the evening you can visit the Thissa lake enjoying boat safari and explore the bird habitat around the lake and explore the dry zone natural beauty around the area.

Day 8 :

Thissamaharamaya – Safari in Yala National Park – Galle (UNESCO  Heritage city)

Early Morning you proceed to Yala national park within half an hour. That is the 2nd largest National Park situated in the southeast region of the Island and shelter to Sri Lanka’s wide variety of wildlife. You can get Safari Jeep Experience with the highest leopard densities in the world and It is thrilling to observe leopards in graceful movements, majestic elephants with Giant bodies, sloth bears, jackals, peacocks who wearing their finest dress, spotted dear, and crocodiles.

After finishing the safari you will be transferred to the Galle UNESCO  Heritage city. En route you will visit Ussangoda national park in Ambalanthota which have unusual placement of soil and flora. You will like to explore that how it was made. In the evening Enjoy the sunset in the Galle Fort (UNESCO Heritage site).

Day 9 :

Galle Leisure – Colombo

After breakfast you will visit Rumassala sanctuary which is bordering the beach near galle fort. Rumassala is the natural forest with biodiversity and rich with legends. Also you can enjoy at the jungle beach in here that very popular among tourist. Next you will go Unawatuna bay near Rumassala is a paradise beach. You can enjoy beach sports and boat safari in here with this curved beach with panoramic views often blessed with spectacular sunsets. There are many string of trendy restaurants and sunbed hotels among palm groves bordering the beach. Unawatuna beach is famous  place to chill out with fresh foods and drinks. After enjoying at Unawatuna beach you will leave to  Colombo the capital city of sri lanka which is 130 km away from galle.

Day 10 :

colombo – Airport
