Day 1 :
Airport / Chilaw
Welcome to the breathtaking lovely paradise of Sri Lanka. Our team representative from Overa Tours will pick you up from the Colombo International Airport.
On the same day You will proceed to munneshwaram hindu temple that located 54 km distance from Airport. This temple dedicate to Lord Shiva were located here. A Shiva Lingam was already here when Lord Rama visited this place. Lord Rama after his victorious battle left for Ayodhya with Sitha in one of King Ravana’sVimanas. And there are lot of historical incidents behind this site also mentioned in Epic poem“Ramayanaya.”

Day 2 :
After breakfast, you will go ahead to Koneswaram temple in Trincomalee about 240 km far from negombo. (also historically known as the Thirukonamamalai KonesarKovil, the Temple of the Thousand Pillars) This is a Hindu religious temple in Trincomalee district, Eastern Province, Sri Lanka. It is built at Swami Rock, a rocky promontory cape overlooking Trincomalee, a ancient harbor port town. Enroot we wish to visit other important sites at time permits.

Day 3 :
Trincomalee Sightseeing
After Breakfast proceeds to Kinniya hot water springs to see natural hot water spring. Then proceed to Shankari Devi temple (Shakthi Peetham). The famed Shankari Devi, in Sri Lanka, is one of the 18 Devi Temples ( Shakti Peethas). Many have heard the Ashtadasha Shakti PeethaShloka starting with LANKAAYAAM SHAANKARI DEVI . composed by Sri AdiShankara which means Shankari in Lanka. This Shloka enumerates the list of places of Devi temples that are considered to be part of the 18 Devi Peethas. Then we go Nilaweli Beach site for your memorable beach experience.

Day 4 :
Trincomalee / Kandy ( UNESCO world heritage city )
Today go ahead to the Kandy historical city that one of the Sri lankan kingdom 178 km from trincomalee. Kandy is the cultural city and evidence of a thriving city in Sri Lanka. The ancient city of Kandy is known as the Buddhist shrine and was the last capital of the Sinhalese kingdoms. Sacred Buddha Tooth Relic Temple also locatednear the kandy lake in this beautiful city. In the evening visit to the TEMPLE OF THE SACRED TOOTH RELIC. It was built within the royal palace complex which houses the only surviving relic of Buddha, a tooth, which is venerated by Buddhists. The city “Kandy” is a world heritage site declared by UNESCO. In the evening you can participate see the kandy cultural show belongs sri lankan own heritage.

Day 5 :
Kandy / NuwaraEliya
After breakfast proceeds to Nuwaraeliya. En Route You Visit Ramboda Hanuman temple and ramboda waterfall that 3200 ft above sea level. NuwaraEliya is situated in the central mountainous area, the temperature is 4-16 °C all year round. It is widely known as authentic Ceylon Tea all over the world. So, in this tour, you can taste Ceylon tea in a Tea factory. Then we visit Gregory lake and city tour.

Day 6 :
NuwaraEliya / Colombo
First you visit the Seetha Amman Temple is the place where Seetha spent most of her time during her captivity on the island of Lanka according to the Ramayanaya. The special thing about this temple is that it is the only temple in the world dedicated to Goddess seetha. After she refused to stay in Ravana’s magnificent palace she was transferred to AshokaVatika or AshokaVana where she lived under Ashoka trees. It was here that Hanuman met her for the first time, identifying himself with the finger ring of Rama. Seetha is said to have bathed in the nearby stream.
Then you will catch the details of another remarkable historical Ramayana place that we called “ Divurumpola” near Nuwara eliya. Then you can see beauty of nature at Hakgala botanical garden.

Day 7 :
Colombo / Kelaniya / Airport
After breakfast according to your departure schedule you can visit the Anjaneyar temple in Sri Lanka and Kelaniya temple near Colombo. This Anjaneyar Temple is the first Anjaneyar Temple in Sri Lanka and also the only Panchamuga (five-faced) Anjaneyar Temple in Sri Lanka. It’s the only temple in the world to have a chariot for Ajanyear.
Kelaniya Temple -After King Ravana’s death, Vibeeshana was coroneted as King of Lanka by Lakshmana at Kelaniya. There are murals enshrined outside the Buddhist temple depicting the crowning of Vibeeshana. The Kelani River is mentioned in the Valmiki Ramayana and Vibeeshana palace was said to be on the banks of this river. Then Our guide will drive you to Colombo International Airport.
